Pre-Launch Notice

At the time of these Terms being published, Our Story Haven is operating in a pre-launch phase.

Customers purchasing during this period are securing discounted early access to the platform prior to its official launch.

Certain features described within these Terms and elsewhere on the website may not yet be available. The full platform experience is expected to become available from 1 July 2026.

These Terms may be updated as additional functionality becomes available.

1. About us

OurStoryHaven ("the Service", "we", "us", "our") is operated by WESTBRIDGE SYSTEMS LTD (Company number 16944743), registered at 65 London Wall, London, United Kingdom, EC2M 5TU.

2. Acceptance of terms

By purchasing early access, joining our waiting list, creating an account once the platform becomes available, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not purchase early access or use the Service.

3. The Service

OurStoryHaven is a family-legacy platform that helps you capture, preserve and share memories, wisdom and life stories through guided interviews, written prompts, audio recordings and digital storytelling tools. Some features (e.g. printed hardcover memory books) are listed as "Coming Soon" and are not yet available for purchase.

At the time of publication, Our Story Haven is operating in a pre-launch phase. Certain features described within these Terms may not yet be available. Early access customers will receive access to the platform from the launch date communicated at checkout.

4. Your account

User accounts are expected to become available following the official launch of the platform.

Once active, users will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity carried out under their account.

Further account-related provisions may be introduced when the platform becomes fully operational.

5. Your content

The provisions relating to stories, recordings, photographs, and other user-generated content will apply once the full Our Story Haven platform becomes available.

These Terms may be updated at that time to reflect the rights and responsibilities associated with creating and preserving family stories through the Service.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose;
• upload content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful or infringes intellectual property;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts or our systems;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware;
• scrape, reverse-engineer or copy substantial parts of the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

7. Pricing, payment and pre-sale

Subscription and product prices are shown on our pricing page and are charged via our payment provider. Pre-sale purchases give you access to the platform from the official launch date stated at checkout. VAT is added where applicable.

Pre-sale purchases are not subscriptions.

Customers purchasing during the pre-launch period are securing discounted access to the platform upon launch.

No recurring payments will commence unless the customer actively chooses to subscribe following launch.

The launch date communicated at checkout is currently anticipated to be 1 July 2026. While we will make every reasonable effort to launch on this date, customers acknowledge that launch timelines may change where reasonably necessary.

8. Refunds and right to cancel

Consumers in the UK and EU have a 14-day statutory right to cancel digital service purchases. Our full refund terms are set out in our Refund Policy.

The specific refund terms applicable to early-access purchases are set out in our Refund Policy and will be communicated clearly during checkout.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks and content provided by us, is owned by WESTBRIDGE SYSTEMS LTD or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that negatively affect paid users.

11. Termination

Account-related termination provisions will apply once user accounts become available following launch.

We reserve the right to refuse access to the Service or cancel early-access purchases where required by law, in cases of fraud or abuse, or where a material breach of these Terms has occurred.

Further provisions relating to account closure and user-generated content may be introduced once the platform becomes fully operational.

Early Access

Customers participating in the pre-launch phase understand that certain functionality described on the website may still be under development.

By purchasing early access, customers acknowledge that they are supporting the continued development of the platform while securing access upon launch.

We will use reasonable efforts to ensure that the platform launches on the anticipated date communicated at checkout; however, launch timelines may change where reasonably necessary.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory consumer rights.

Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law, WESTBRIDGE SYSTEMS LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) GBP 100.

You are strongly encouraged to keep your own copies of any irreplaceable content.

13. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the platform before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Subject to your mandatory consumer rights to bring proceedings in your country of residence, any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
